Target Practice
Materials: Use pieces of string to hang a series of targets from a long tree branch or clothesline. Make your targets in a variety of shapes and sizes using paper plates, aluminum pie pans, Hula-Hoops, beach balls, spinning targets or anything else you can imagine. Label each target indicating how many points it is worth (anything from 1 to 6, depending on difficulty), then mark off a line ten to fifteen feet away. Instructions: This is a throwing contest and players need a strong arm. Each contestant steps up to the line, gets three tennis balls and three chances to try his or her luck on their points. If you are doing a theme party, make your targets to match.
